+1, this isn't the first time I've heard of that around here...

I've heard this is part of why people's mustangs have been held up. There have been clutch and starter issues so they held a lot of them to check them. Reason why people have been waiting months for their new 2011 Mustangs. Obviously not all were caught. I feel for you but good thing Ford is covering it.

Think it's a safe bet to wait until 2012 models to buy the new mustang.

Some guys actually took the time to document and even video how the clutch pedal floors out when stomped on.
Here is the thread, they also have a vid showing why it floors out due to the lack of a stop.

Fortunately, they prescribe getting a GT500 pedal assembly to remedy the floored pedal failure.

I guess for clutch and other parts that wear down, if you are not going to do any mods that void the warranty, the $2000 might be for some other people. I unfortunately find $2000 more for the premium EWP really steep.
Who's got money left for mods? The only money I have left after this payment and GEICO is just enough for my daily peanut butter sammich. I think the only mod I can afford right now is a cup with a cardboard sign. Fitty cent Mustang rides.

Still can't stop grinning though.
