West Coast joins the 8 sec 3V club!!
Well I finally officially joined the 8 sec 3V club and am the only person to ever do it west of the Mississippi...lol
Did it in tough conditions as the DA was almost 4400 and it was 98º at Fontana but churned out three 8.90's @ 160 mph - all within a hundredth of each other. My 60's were in the 1.39 range and my 1/8 mile were in the 5.84 range which is about 2 tenths down from what it normally does but it was HOT and it performed flawlessly all day.
Nobody had a camera so all we got was a crappy cell phone vid from the starting line - sorry but all we had...

The timeslips are all posted on another forum but it was pretty awesome to make those runs in the heat under those sucky conditions. When I can get the killer to a 'good' track with good conditions, I think I will take the world record, and not just the west coast record...
