While i was at work today my dad set up an appoinment at a local dealership to test drive both the V6 and the V8 on monday, and figure out some of the other details. He also set up an appointment at our insurance company to talk to them. I told him i was going to do it myself, but he told me after work today he wanted to help out with something at least. I'm getting excited, December is when i plan to place my order, but that give me plenty of time to do more research and get my self situated.

Thats good news, if your dad can put you on his insurance..it will be cheaper for you. I did the same for my neice just a month ago, and it was $80/month cheaper for her.

This may sound ignorant, but will i still be valid for insurance under my dad at age 18?

And if you are not a dependant, then the requirement is that you live in his house. At least that is how it works with my insurance company.
