FWIW my 05 had that same issue and for some reason the fix in that thread never worked. i thing the heat is just too much here in texas for that glue. 105 outside and i bet inside the car hits 150, I cant even drive with the damn aluminum shift ball on my car some days after it has been in the sun for a while. It holds for a few weeks then the glue lets go again, at least it did in my case.
