Default "Bung" Weld?

Hey guys,

I'm getting a bung welded into my exhaust for my A/F ratio gauge this week. My question is, where exactly in my exhaust do I want this hole put? I've heard on the headers, but I wasn't sure...

Thanks!

my tuner told me it was optimal before the cats , but not necessary .his second option was to put the sensor in the second cat and he would disable the code . I went with option 2 , seems to b working fine

Before the cats - so, on the headers would have to be the optimal spot?

I had mine welded into the driver side exhaust manifold. Get it welded high enough so that the tip of the sensor does not point up in the exhaust pipe. It will collect condensation and foul out sooner that way.
