Well, first you gotta decide whether you want a navigation system, multiple cd changer, or hd or satelite radio with your touch screen I myself have been thinking about it but the one site I went to had the systems i wanted for over a 1000 dollars so Im still looking.

i dont want the hd or satellite radio, i just want one that you can play your ipod from and change the backround of the screen and i dont necessarily need navigation but it would be cool to have, but i have no idea of the price range any of that would be.

I just posted a thread about this today in the audio section. I just want a double-din cd receiver that I can hook up an iPod touch to and be a sound upgrade over my Shaker 1000 unit. Don't care about DVD, satellite radio, navigation, or touch screen really. Any help?

Sony would be a good start dog. It was a steal for $379, but they have raised the price a little to $499. Marcus has got the "king ding-a-ling" pioneer which is ultra sweet, but cost more. Ipod works sweet with mine (even video), and with the pac harness you can retain your shaker setup. Plug and play baby!

i got the alpine double din and its awesome. controls the iphone from its touch screen. has navigation which recalculates if u make a wrong turn. it works while driving which is neccessity if ur going on trips so ur co captain can navigate. it also plays dvd but we havent used it. and it is bluetooth but still has the connection which i do use. when i use the hands free calling people can hear me clearly and i can hear them clearly. a little expensive ringing in at 1500 but awesome unit
