Quick question!
I know I posted here before asking advice on whether getting a GT or v6 both being 2011. But the question is this, does anyone think that the mustang will get a completely new look in the future like maybe 2013 or 2014? The reason I ask is because I wouldn't like the get the new mustang and then like 1 or 2 years later they come out with a completely new design. I know it was refreshed in 2010, but what I mean is a complete redesign.

It probably will happen, the s197 has been out for 6 years now. Also with the 50th anniversary coming out in 2014, I can see something new being introduced. I do love the '05-'09 s197 body style.

Fords plan is a new Mustang in 2014 for the 50th Anniv. However last I checked they were still trying to decide What to do with it.
The 3 choices are:
1) Affordable "Pony" car 50% chance
2) M3 type car 40% chance
3) Nissan GT-R type car. 10% chance

Hey thanks guys, I mean I guess if it's in 2014 it's not worth it to wait. I like the new refreshed style of the 2011, anyways thanks guys, if all goes well I might have a new Mustang by the beginning of next year!

I'm sure they WILL change it, eventually. I think this new style will probably go at least through 2013 though, and I suspect 2014... Buy now and have fun man. Live for today. Who is to say the redesign would be better anyway? It might suck...

mustangs get changed every year, with new options and features added to make you think about trading in your new car.
No matter how long you wait this trend will continue, so stick to whatever car company doesn't make changes to their cars every few years...
oh wait, there aren't any!

just get the stang, its the nature of the beast, there will always be new ones coming out, cant get around it. and also, even if they redesigned them for the 50th, who says its going to look better, the companies are going in the right direction with resurrecting the older style of these muscle cars, but eventually, they will try to make them "new" again, and nobody knows if it will be good either.
