i once was in a neon srt 4 completely stock with 5ppl weighing on avg of 185 and i saw that car hit 155mph and was still climbing...i have no reason to doubt that a stock gt would hit 150 and still climb if its cutting off by a governor...granted no way in he@@ would i wanna be in a car like ours doing 150 either...

 

i would highly doubt that neon was stock.....car and driver only got 153 out of it and im sure they were no loaded with 5 people.

and the mustang isnt going to go much faster than 150 either if it gets there unless its modded pretty good with some bolt ons and gears.

 

i swear that neon was completely stock...the car was my best friends car...he never would mod it cuz he never kept the same car for over a year..i'm with ya howarmat, i wouldnt believe another person tellin me either if i didn't witness it with my own 2 eyes. well, with a different set of gears would hurt the gt 3.90 and 4.10's would hurt it dramatically trying to get to 150. when u lower that gear ratio, it kills top speed
