Will the different gear ratio - that boosts acceleration - affect mileage? I'm considering the performance package, but my daily drive is almost all highway. This will be my main car - not just for weekends. Thanks.

Depending on what your final cruise RPM is at whatever speed you usually cruise at, you're probably not going to see more than a 1-2 MPG impact unless you're cruising well above 2000 RPM.
