I had the Steeda intake, but was using the stock rubber intake tube. The steeda intake and stock MAF was maxing out at the peak RPM, and the because the tube/intake was smaller, the velocity had to be more to get enough air in. That added velocity was sucking the weak part of the rubber tube shut. It used to be at 6000rpm, but when I added a new tensioner and was seeing more boost, it bumped it down to 5500.
