Thinking of getting a CS.

Thinking of getting a CS.
So I recently got rid of my STi for a Jeep, decided I miss having a "fun" car and am back in the market. I have been looking at getting another STi or something similar, but in my search i came across an 09 CS. Thoughts? I know I should get a new one, but insurance dictates otherwise. So convince me one way or the other.

2009 is the 45th anniversary edition! Mustang is fun to drive and fun to mod.. and lots of culture, background and community.
2011 is first run of the coyote, IMO let it do it's course. Plus 2014 will be the 50th anniversary.. so you can upgrade then or get a 2011-2013 pre-owned by that time. I'm taking it that the '09 CS you're looking at is pre-owned so you'll save a few bucks vs new. 2009 is also the last run of the original s197 body style, which I personally prefer over the 2010-11.

+1 on the preferring the '05-'09 S197 body style. Use the forum to help you obatin info as you research. Most every issue known to these cars is listed in the forum and Ford did seem to hammer out most of the issues in the 05-07's. And welcome!

The STI is a fun car, no doubts...
But the Stang is fun even without driving it, can't beat that! D
Read as much as you can (from all Forums) until you see a crisscross pattern of the pros and cons about the car.
If you still like the idea after that, then go for it.
The 09 has a lot of re-worked things that were a pain in the first years of the S197.
You can't go wrong with that car...

Not sure if you meant me or the OP...Nice car though...my wife wants an auto...but please share on how he/she did this...
Custom embrodiry (sorry about that spelling, lol)? I've seen, only once, a company that used to sell slip on "covers" for the headrests, but I cannot find that vendor anymore...Anyways, please share.
