Default M-5025-A Control Arm Brace Install Orientation

I purchased an FRPP M-5025-A control arm brace for my '05 GT hardtop. I know this brace is installed from the factory on the 'verts.
The brace did not come with any install illustrations. Can anyone look on their 'vert and tell me whiich direction the brace studs are facing?...toward the front or rear of the vehicle?.....Thanks

Mine's installed with the studs/nuts facing rear. Tried mine both directions and it fit better with them facing rear. Does it matter which way you install it? Probably not...

If you look carefully, you will see the attachment points on the A-Arms
are ANGLED and it DOES matter which way it is installed.
Some GTs and V6es have it factory. Mine did not so I made a
brace from a surplus S197 Panhard Bar.
The slotted mounting holes and 1/4" mounting hardware and swingset
swages on the OEM brace on it made no sense to me so I went with
3/8" end plates and 3/8" hardware FTW. I bent the end plates to roughly
match the angles at the attachment points on the frame. Then they were
bolted on and tack welded in place for the perfect alignment.

BTW the stock PanHard bar is FULL of lead shot for some reason...

Does anyone know the torque specs on these bolts? I just ordered one of these bars and dont want to assume "when they are tight is right".

For those not as handy at welding as 157dB (Well made piece, sir!), you can buy the 4 Point K-member Brace from CHE Performance. It's a well made piece that also ties into the front control arm mounts - which the stock brace that comes on the Convertibles does not. And if you want to add the Engine Torque Limiters, you need this piece to do it. And yes, the studs and nuts do face the rear as shown in the illustration posted by NJ3. Sorry I can't help with the Factory Torque Spec but I suggest using some Loctite "just in case".

I (well my Son did it actually...) just installed mine a few weeks ago but I haven't driven it much since so haven't got enough experiance to tell anyone how well it works. But the design is well thought out and it should make the front end definitely more tight!

I found the torque specs for any future searchers on this subject, 46 ft-lbs.
