Default Pinion Angle

Is anyone familiar with setting the pinion angle? I just got an upper control arm for my 2008 and lower control arms both made by competition engineering. I adjusted my pinion to negative 2 degrees. I went to the track tonight and noticed that the wheel hop is gone but i ran 3 tenths slower than with the stock suspension... WTF? Im spinning like crazy!!!! it was about 15 degrees hotter outside so i can see that slowing me down a little but 3 tenths with no wheel hop? HELP ME PLEASE. BTW this is with street tires also.. yeah i know, i need to get some stickys. What is everyone setting their pinion angle to ?

Yep.
Here ya go.

But ya need one of these...

BTW
The LCAs need to be exactly the same length so your stang does
not 'dog track'.
