"Anyone else with an S197" ?? Probably want to narrow that field of fire there Tex. Your inference is that all 05+ Mustangs have a factory installed shimmy which is not the case.

Mine is an '06 and have shimmy issues even after balancing and alignments. I do have stock suspension. Not all of the s197's have it but it seems to be a common enough ailment. Maybe depends on what day of the week the car was built

I meant anyone else with an s197 that is experiencing the shimmy. Seeing as we are talking about the shimmy in this thread it appears pretty obvious to me and anyone else that this is what I meant. Now please 'tex' use your brain next time before starting flame wars mkay, thx, bye.

Hopefully they get it taken care of. When I pick up my '12 I would really like the problem fixed

Same here, 06 with shimmy in 50-65mph range. Just posted a thread about it in the 4.6 section yesterday trying to figure it out.

Actually since you say it, my steering wheel does the same but very little but it does do it, i thought it might have been me being on low pro's? but yeah i do have that problem. It does it at high speeds.
