Default 2008 headlights coming on when car is off

I haven't witnessed this myself, but others at work are telling me than my car's headlights and taillights are on at various times of the day. I go out and they're off. Sounds like some kind of short, but have no idea where to check. I imagine taking this to a dealership for warranty work would be a waste of time since it's so intermittent.

Any ideas?

Hey, you're in VA, bring it to me and give me $200 and I'll fix it.

(I'll go to your job and tell them to quit ****ing with you)

I saw the lights turn on myself last night. It's rather random but frequent enough. Sometimes repeatedly and then maybe once every 15 minutes.

Where is the PCM located? I installed one of those sequential tail light adapters a couple months ago and I'm wondering if that could be the cause somehow.
