Making a car that is already retro, more retro is a mistake. This car proves that. The only thing I've seen worse is when people do the s197 front end to an s95/new edge.

Damn straight! Now THAT is the right way to retro-look an S197!
Why that guy didn't opt to go with this kit, I have no earthly idea.

For the amount of $$$ he dumped nto putting those horrendous mods on his S197, he could have probably bought an actual '65 Stang and fixed it up. That way, he would have had the best of both worlds: A true classic 'Stang and the most current 'Stang on the market.
