I feel bad for the guys that completed this. Spent all that time fabricating and when it was done, stood back and looked at it and thought to themselves "damnit, that looks like ****"

Absolutely terrible. There's already a couple good ways to get the 68 Shelby look that this guy way going for, without utterly ruining the car.

we saw this one at the Queen Mary show last month.
I would have done a few things to try to make it more retro but it looked great!

I don't know; when I saw it, I think I had a reversal. To me, it is a horrible cosmetic mod.

The S197 should never be modded to try to look like the original first production classic 'Stang. The S197 gets its cues from the Mach I so, at least in my mind, the S197 should probably be cosmetically modded to look like a Mach I.

I hope no one will get the suicide-crazy idiotic idea of cosmetically modding an S197 into a Fox-body.

there was a post on here recently with a company doing conversions to body mod to the 60s style.... I think it was like a 35k conversion, however it looked 100 times better then that.
