Default Bought an intake

sup guys, thanks for the help in my previous topic concerning my intake choices. I decided with the JLT from CJPonyparts (sorry AM you guys didn't have it in stock for a while now), I also bought a FRPP x pipe cause I simply replace the H-pipe with the x, good way to start my birthday week ;D. What do you guys think my gains would be? I have pypes mid muffler, FRPP, and the JLT CAI.

Btw if anyone is interested I will sell my K&N filter for the stock 2010 intake for like 20$

Without a tune for the CAI, your gains will be minimal; possibly as high as 6 RWHP but likely a bit less on the '10. The change from H-pipe to X-pipe will be negligible to the point that you're not likely to be able to determine the difference from the variance of the dyno.

Get a custom tune for the CAI. You'll see roughly 15 RWHP gain from stock on your '10.

EDIT:
OOPS. Just saw "FRPP" in your post which I'll assume is the FRPP tune. If so, you're currently not seeing as much gain as you would with an AM or Brenspeed tune so by adding the CAI, you still may see only 4-6 RWHP more.

I agree you need a tune for that CAI to maximize your power, as for the X the purpose is to eliminate the inefficiency of the H after mods have begun.

Dont mean to jump in on your thread, but would an offroad x pipe that deletes the cats add power since just a simple x conversion doesnt?

Adds peak HP but loses lower end torque because of less back pressure. Even then, it's maybe 2rwhp.

I called CJponyparts to verify my order went through successfully, it did not and they don't have any of the parts in stock. So I called AM and asked them if there was really a necessity to purchase an expensive intake such as a Steeda or C&L and they said they almost all net about the same so I just got a Roush intake. I am considering about holding out on the x pipe until my warranty expires so I can put an off road in there.
