All of my hand tools are Craftsman. Some are over 20 years old and you can't beat the warranty.

I use mostly craftsman, not the cheapest but not crazy expensive and the warranty is awesome. Do not go cheapest you can find, I have a scar on my eyebrow where I snapped a swivel and the socket fell down on my face.

I have always been a Craftsman guy and its all I have in my personal work tool bag (AH-64D phase team leader) but I have been impressed by the kobalt stuff from Lowes. Ratcheting wrenches are a must too I have the stubbies and the wobble heads.

I bought that same tool set last year..they had it on sale for 119 and I couldnt pass it up..I think its nice cause you get the nice chest with it to keep all the tools in their spot.

I absolutely despise craftsmen tools. All my tools are Snap-on or Channel-lock.

I bought a similar box earlier this year this one......http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...6260000P?mv=rr

I have used it for many things but the biggest so far was my cam install. Supercharger is next. Go for it dude, great value for the money IMO.

A Snap-on tool set would be way too expensive unless you are a professional. But if there are a few tools that would cause you real problems if they broke, then buy Snap-on for those.

My Craftsman warranty didn't remove the wheel lug nuts from my car when the socket cracked.

Go with the 260 Piece set a few bucks more. I have the same set and used it to do a motor swap on a Honda http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...&blockType=G13
