Funny you should mention BP. I don't even have a BP station anywhere near me. I would probably have to drive no less than 100 miles to find one.

Also, what if my car spontaneously catches fire from BP fuel? Like that drilling platform did? Do I get a warranty from Ford for using their Ford-approved fuel provider? And seeing how that BP rig just exploded, How do I know that BP fuel is not just as dangerous? ROLF!

I agree, so long at the batt or fuel is SAE and USDOT approved, Ford should never refuse to honor warranty for using a non-Ford approved part/fuel.

And I also think you won't void your warranty if you use light bulbs manufactured in Japan or China. And since the OE tires were probably either Perelli or BFG, you'd better check that, too.
