Default v6 shifter question

hi, i have a v6 mustang and this is my first standard car. I am not very good at it yet, but my question is sometimes when im driving in some gears my shifter starts vibrating. I do not know if this is normal or bad. Could someone help me out, and also since i am new to a standard i have killed the car several times. Does this hurt the car at all? Lastly, i know this questions are probably kind of dumb but i am not for sure, so does it burn out the clutch when i am in traffic and have to hold it down and keep inching forward then push the clutch down again.

You should leave it in neutral as much as possible to keep from burning your throwout bearing when the clutch is engaged for long periods of times, its normal for your shifter to vibrate; we have pretty clunky transmissions.

vibrations are normal, if you are going to be sitting still or coasting for a period of time just pop into neutral and release the clutch. If nothing else it will save your leg
