Exedy Mach 400 Clutch bought, now I need flywheel help.
Decided I don't want to use my stock flywheel because it is NOT sfi certified. I also decided I don't wan the EXEDY steel flywheel because it is as light as an aluminum flywheel.
So I need an aftermarket flywheel that will match up good with the Exedy Clutch. I have heard good things about both the Fidanza and the RAM steel flywheels.
I just want one that will mate well and not cause me any problems.
I also have no clue if a shim will be required with this and can't seem to find an answer on that either.
The clutch and flywheel would have already been put in but I had a non vehicle related accident and broke a vertebre in my back 3 weeks ago.
Now I am back on track but in a brace doing physical therapy.
If I could get some opinions and help with this I would REALLY appreciate it. The clutch is here and I really need to get this done.
After my NIGHTMARE with my SPEC 2+ clutch, I do want to make sure I do it right this time. Thanks!

I feel your clutch pains man. Ive been looking at McLeod myself. I went to alot of Mustang forums and seen nothing but good feedback about them. The bad news is you will have to pawn your house and sell your soul to afford one, but hey, who needs a soul when you can have firm crisp shifts right.

Fidanza stopped producing the steel flywheels for our year models.
They only produce the aluminum ones now. Also... I found out the fidanza's are NOT sfi certified for those that track or race their car.
