Even if you put down $6000, how much of that went to taxes, license, and other fees. What you really should do is call the finance company and find out what your payoff is. Then you will know if you can get out of it what you put down.

Take it by a CarMax and get a free quote. They will usually offer more for a car that they have little stock of than a car that they have a lot of.

They would love to sell a 5.0 GT and would probably offer you decent money for it.

I'm curious as to what the reason is to get rid of it. Water leak is the first thing to come to mind, but I am not sure if the 10-11 suffer the same.

Really, what is wrong with such a nice new car that you'd be willing to lose $6k or more on it.

I dont mean to make you feel even worse about the car, but this is why I wait a year when they come out with new motors, cause theres always problems and recalls. I really wish you luck though and sorry to hear it cause I'm sure it hurts having to get rid of it.

I would go ahead and get rid of it now if you are not happy with it. The longer you wait the more of a hit you're going to take.

People always say call ford corporate, the people you really want to talk to are the PR reps. they are the ones that tend to care about the brand.

Ford hads a division called the Dispute Settlement Board. Its their own division to handle lemon issues as BBB does. I used it once very successfully on an older Navigator I had.
