Me saying it was clear doesnt mean the car was a mile down the road, im saying it was clear for me to go...and yes i was on the gas, i never sed it wasnt...my question is why the traction control just shut off and my car sed that my brake fluid was low wen it wasnt

I refer to them as ghost codes. Car throws codes and nothing is wrong....it happens. I talked with brenspeed about this issue. My ABS light came on the other day. Fluid full, fuses good, brakes work fine.

Be thankful all you hit was a curb. When the roads are wet you gotta respect the HP you have with a v8, traction control or not. Do NOT expect the TC to save you.

And this was not the worst morning ever. If you got hit by a semi and woke up the hospital 4 days later................that would be the worst. I would be thankful, IMO.

There seems to be a huge part of the story missing here (the part about "I floored it from a stop in the rain") - but, it's cool. It's OK to admit you leaned on the car in the rain and it got away from you... we've all done it!

I think the fluid light came on after your spinout, which makes more sense.

i dont think your car would even be under the lemon law anyways.

i crashed my mustang one time in the rain, only had to learn that mistake once. be glad you didnt have to send your car to the shop for over a month and now have been forever burdened with a terrible squeak for over 2 years to remind you of your stupidity.

count yourself lucky. the rain was designed to make stupid people learn a lesson.

I guess u guys dont understand my reason for this post and are just being judgemental...there is nowhere in the post that i stated that i floored it from a stop(im not stupid, common sense tell people no to do that) i dont know about some peoples cars but alot of cars spin out in the rain with TC off and sometimes even when its on...i was trying to figure out why out of nowhere the "brake fluid low" message flashed and the TC turned off(which was the reason (or part of the reason for the tires spinning out)...but i can c where that says "hey guys, im a young dumb idiot that floors it at a stop sign while its wet and have my TC off and wanna blame the car"

Anyways...to all the people that gave constructive advice, thank you

White05GT mentioned a possible water leak.
Check the passenger side fuse panel and the carpet for moisture.
Water in that fuse panel will cause strange electrical issues.
