Default Handy little dash mod

So I have one of those GPS devices that sticks to the window via a suction-cup. Only thing is its a pain to use, and always comes unstuck at the most inoppurtune times.

Soooo... I put a little strip of velcro on the dash. Now I can easily stick and unstick all my devices to my dash and use them while I am driving without looking down.

This is great for Ipods and stuff. I was just really frustrated with all the other aftermarket dashboard products. So this was my solution:

I tried that exact thing when i had my 2005 GT. Problem was with the heat here in florida the velcro would not stick to the dash and it would slowly ooze off and fall

i see, that is too bad.

I got the industrial strength velcro, so hopefully it will stay golden. Plus it's in a position that hopefully shouldn't get too hot.

thanks everybody.

I hope methods like this catch on, because so many people keep their ipod/phone/gps down low, and if you try to operate it while you are driving you have to take your eyes off the road.

I used the industrial strength as well. But the heat in the summer time here is brutal on a car interior.
