Question custom tune - 87 vs. 93 comparison

I was curious, is there a noticable performance gain going from an 87 custom tune to a 93 custom tune?

I've uploaded the 87 custom tune and the 89 custom tune and I did not feel much of a difference. However, with the 89 tune, it does pull harder at higher rpm range.

Thanks in advance....

The only way to tell would be to upload it and try.

I can't speak for the 87 tune, but FWIW, I went from a canned SCT 93 tune to a BAMA custom 93 tune and it was noticeably better. I'd imagine there would be a nice improvement between 87 and 93

I figured I would ask and find out if it is a huge noticable difference, if not, I will not even bother.
tjace34, keep me informed. thanks!

I noticed the same upper range characteristic of my 93 tune as yours. But since I don't typically run like that, I prefer and run my 89 tune 99.9% of the time.

My daily commute is 3.5 miles to work (one way) and back on a daily basis and I travel all back roads, so the low end RPM feels the best to me. I decided to go back to my 87 tune. =-)

I run the 93 octane "race tune" from Bama as a DD and would not really go back myself. It is a lot better than the 93 octane economy tune as far as upper and mid range torque. Lower raange torque is not bad either, but I also have 3.73's, and that helps a lot.

I have the 87 street, 89 performance and the 93 race from Bama. The only one that I can really stand is the 93 race tune.

There are only two gas stations in my area that I know of that sell 93 though so if im traveling I will usually have to go with one of the lower tunes. It is very noticeable.

I have the 87 perf, 91 torque & 91 race from BAMA. I tried each and since then, the 91 race is the only tune I'll ever run on my car unless something better comes along

The 87 and 91 tunes are worlds apart...
