I've had them before too. I only drive about 1000 miles a year, as this is just a weekend toy. They should be fine for the foreseeable future.

Thanks, yeah... I don't disagree, but thats a big PITA, lol. I'll see if I feel like doing that some time in 2064.

Thanks! Not at all, I guess I'm too "old" for the whole lowered car look with the "Big wheels" thing, lol. I hated putting 18s on here, would have rather had 17s. IMHO, a "muscle car" belongs at a normal height. I'll leave the lowering to others, I hate the look personally.

FYI, The brake calipers are not difficult to paint. Take the wheels off, tape around and paint away!
You can purchase the dupli-color caliper paint kit at any autozone. =-)
Black calipers would look really nice with your set up. ;-)

Yeah I've painted some before and had no fun doing it. The way I think these days is I'd rather buy a big brake kit than paint those, lol. The silver calipers actually match the silver car, so its just not something thats high on my list. I'm focused on finishing up the decals and installing gauges this week, then the supercharger install is next.

I have the same problem getting a good photo of my metallic silver 'stang. The car looks GREAT in person. I get nothing but compliments about it. For some reason this color just doesn't take a good photo.

Personally, I think black calipers would be a great addition to the decals.

When completed, let us know how everything turns out.
