A buddy just had the same problem on his '05. He had a local shop replace his vinyl top with cloth for just $1200 total. We are in Atlanta. You should call around in your area to find a better price than what you've been quoted.

I bought my Mustang brand new, and never had it car-washed. I heard that falling of the rear glass is a common problem with convertibles but it generally happens after about 10 years. Mine happened in 4 years. It must be the heat in Texas, or my converting the top a lot.

I'm getting my top replaced under my insurance due to a d*ckhead putting a knife thru my top (weird how the alarm didn't go off)....anyhoo, with the headliner, cloth top and install, it's $3300+ all in Canadian......holy fawk
