This is my first post, I just got the last GT in Oregon, sonic blue 5spd. I have searched and read all the posts on axle back exhausts and can't decide between the slp loudmouth or the mac. I heard a clip of the slp's and they sound really good but I haven't heard the mac. I want a deep throaty growl, the louder the better, thanks for the help, I love this car!

 

i havent heard the Mac but i have heard the loudmouths on an 04 gt and they sounded great. Combine that with the price and i dont think you can go wrong with them

 

I have also heard the SLPs sound good but have not heard much about the MACs. For my money though I would not trade anything for my Bassani system. There is a little drone from time to time but the sound 99% of the time is amazing.

SLP is annoying, unless you like to **** off the neighbors

 

I say get the SLP's. That's what I have and I like them and the price (224 + free shipping) was great. They are not as loud as I had hoped but better sounding than stock. My SRT-4 was a lot louder than this car and I never heard complaints about how loud it was.

 

were did you get them from for $224+free shipping? Are they reliable, the cheapest I saw them was for $289+ free shipping from slp performance.
