I am bit concerned about the intermediate pipes just hanging there. The passenger side stays where it was but the drivers side drops down amd rests on a cross member brace of some type when the muffler is removed.

100 is nice. i do have a holiday party that i am supposed to attend tonight.

i thought you were talking about the rubber hangers slipping on and off, they can be a pain. are you sure you have the correct set of mufflers. i have had about 5 sets of mufflers on my car and they bolted right up, i did have to wiggle them around for a few minutes to line up.

I even removed the hangers brackets but that was no good either (Anybody know the torque specs for the brackets bolts?)

So is it ok to drive 2 miles to the muffler shop with them removed? I don't want to damage anything.

FYI it sounds great with no mufflers!
You will be okay, just dont drive over speed bumps and all.

Can you post a vid of what your car sounds like w/o the exhaust?

PM sent, tomorrow would be fine.

Mufflers are correct and direct from Ford Racing. It is just real tricky to get it lined up by yourself.

If were talking about the same "brace" then yeah mine touches that too sometimes and makes a rattle sound. Drives me nuts. But as far as if its okay then yeah it should be. Sounds like you are getting that fixed soon though so it should be good.

Nice! I got a local Ford mechanic coming over in 1 hour to do it for me for $100.
