Yep that's exactly how I'm doing it.

I've attached a screenshot of the test config I just modified. I put some more knock parameters on there. Going to run this on the drive home and see what happens.

I bet Mishri is jealous of said wife. His cats can only do so much. I thought all Montana's had beards and the such. When did you get blown btw? Is that what's causing the knock problem?

Like I said, we might need to find a way to force some knock just to see what values change, and HOW they change.

For the most part, you can get by just knowing that knock occurred and then compare that to your timing tables to see how they changed therefore what needs to be permanently changed.

If at WoT and 4500 RPM and 23 degrees timing (just as an example) you're getting knock and its kicking it back to 21 degrees timing, a tuner will go in to your timing tables and adjust the timing under those conditions to where knock will not occur. Likewise, he may increase timing in other areas up until the point knock occurs, and then back it off a bit.

The Caddy is 100% mine. The Saleen is 50% mine / 50% his. The 335i is 100% his. As far as driving two at the same time . . . I'm very talented.

I don't think he's having knock problems. I think he's just trying to learn datalogging and understand what all he should be taking readings of, and what all that information means in terms of an overall picture of his engine's health.

I get blown any time I want. One of the perks of being married to a nymphomaniac.

Serial though. Picked up a used KB in September. As far as a problem I have none as far as I know. But people say it's good to datalog the car after you supercharge it. Even if KB says their tune is perfect no matter what.

I understand your suggestion sir. I was hoping I could find the answer to my question of which parameters need the checkbox without having to screw around with it like that.

If I do find a problem KB will need to write corrections into the tune remotely and then send me a new file.
