I was just wondering what happen to all those who replaced there gears and had the whine, some had taken them apart two and three times and could not get the whine to stop. Unless I missed it, I have not heard if anyone found a fix for the problem. I was waiting to see before I replaced mine, I don't want to listen to a lound whine, mine makes no noise at all stock.

 

if you have whine, then the pinion gear is not mating properly with the ring gear. it takes proper shimming to achieve this, not a amateur task.
