Default Universal Turbo Systems

Has anyone heard comments about systems like these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Using the Model lookup it appears to fit a 2006 Mustang.

Looks like you get every dollars worth of your money. Given that its only ~600 bucks, that might not be a good thing. I'd stay away from it personally.

Generally speaking, I'd agree you get what you pay for unlless....someone has firsthand experience to the contrary.

Lights and sirens should be going off in your head.

Bells are ringing. But...dropping 4 grand on something else doesn't make it perfect either. Just looking for the best mix of value and performance.

PS. How do you like your honeycomb panel. I was thinking about getting one too. It is about Xmas time.

Well, there is a reason that most other forced induction systems, whether they are turbo or superchargers, cost many thousands of dollars. If you want to pioneer this kit, go for it. I really hope it could be made to work. But at a certain point you do have to consider that while those other kits MAY be overpriced, are they overpriced to the tune of $3400?

You get what you pay for, and I'd be very careful putting a eBay turbo kit on your car

Pioneer? Heh. You don't know me. I'm no pioneer. That's why I'm here asking the question. To find someone else who took the leap.

And how much would another kit be overpriced? Don't know. In my "Real World" though, we just had to make a decision to go with Adobe Professional or another product called Nuance across our firm. Nuance is radically less expensive and our users liked it better.

I have no idea if/how that translates to turbos.

True. There was another kit on Ebay a while back from On 3 Performance. It received very good reviews. (I have another thread on that one.) It's not on eBay anymore though. That one was around $1300. I thought that was cheap.
