Swirl marks

Grabber, find yourself a good no touch car wash and use it in between hand washes. It will at least cut down the amount of rubbing you do on your finish. Some of these new car washes actually do a great job, just be carefull if you have an open filter cai. I purchased a filter sock and put over the filter when going through. Oh yea, and when purchasing a wash go all out and get the best one they have. My local wash will spray wax, clear coat protectant, spot-free rinse and blow the car off...its f'in wicked!

Trust me I've detailed alot of black cars in my day including my current GT. A good orbital buffer like I have which is a Porter Cable 7424 is what you'll need along with a Lake Country blue cutting pad. I get awesome results using 3M Finesse It II for removing swirls. I follow that up with a polishing pad and 3M polish and the results are like black liquid glass. Then follow that up with a good polymer sealer like Wolfgang. As others have said, stay away from rotary polishers. It's too easy to get in a hurry and burn the paint.
Autogeek.net is where I get all my supplies. They are great.

Want no swirls or water spots etc?
Three words:
Mr.Clean AutoDry System
Hooks up to your hose. Uses a filter for the final rinse and you don't have
to dry the car. The only spots you have to dry is under the side mirrors and
your spoiler if you have one. Change the filter every 5 washes or so
(filter is like 4 bucks), and that's it.
This thing saved me. You think your car shows them bad and is hard to keep
clean... try a black stang.
I swear this is the BEST car cleaning thing ever invented in my opinion.
They used to be 40 bucks at Autozone etc.
I saw them about a year later for 25 or so.
Can't say enough about the thing.
