Has anyone ever purchased the Whipple HO intercooled tuner kit? At $5200 I think you can save money, especially if you will be getting a dyno tune

you are gonna need that other stuff that the HO complete kit comes with
like the spark plugs, fuel injectors, GT500 fuel pump, in order for the SC to work correctly.
the fuel pump is 700-750 by itself, the spark plugs and injectors are a few more hundred bucks.
i got mine from lethalperformance, they gave me a good deal on the HO kit.
the tuner kit is for those building a customized car and may already have those components, or maybe wanting more than what the HO kit can give.
if you have a stock or nearly stock Mustang, you should get the complete HO kit.

You will need injectors $125-$200 for someones 38 lb. ev-14's from a whipple or 47 lb. gt500's.

Fuel solution. Could be a bap or GT500 pumps. $250-$650.

Pulley. $50-$140 depending.

HT0 plugs. About $90 shipped.

Figure an extra $525-$1100 depending on how patient you are for good deals to pop up and what you want exactly. Since you are getting a dyno tune anyway there is no need to figure it into the equation.

Being that I have cams and long tubes, I would need a dyno tune so wouldnt it make sense to go this route? If you buy the gt500 fuel pump injectors and plugs seperate, you can do the whole thing between 6000 and 6200. That $600 could go towards a dyno tune. Am I wrong in my thinking?
