I'm getting a bit of noise as well. I had the car on a lift and retightened all of the nuts but it didn't help. I think its coming from where it connects to the transmission. It seems to have some slop in it or something and rattles a little bit. Its kind of annoying but I can't really hear it too much anymore once the window is down due to the exhaust.

The shift **** is a one piece. I actually tried a couple differnt ones and there was no difference. I didn't get a chance to get under the car this weekend, so I'm hoping to try this week. Thanks again for the tips.
