Yea, take it to Ford.
They did such a good job the first time around ( (: )
that surely they can get it right on the second attempt...
NOT.

Take your check book and disappointments with you.
You will need both when its all said and done.

Default got the call..

Ok so my car got the infamous front end knock... i took one of the guys for a ride for them to hear the knock themselves... well they kept her over night and i just got the call. They linked the noise to the lower control arm on the passenger side. Well i know many of you guys have had front end knock TSB and i am wondering if anyone else has had it linked to the LCA's, i have heard of sway bar links and the shock mounts

Ehhh are they going to fit it? I would call BS LCA = Back, not front.

What about the arm is making noise? Ball joint perhaps? If so I'd upgrade both of them to the GT-500 LCA's

Mine was the upper strut mounts. Both struts were leaking as well.
A tiny little bump and it would thunk.
How many miles do you have on the car?
Mine started thunking real quick like.
Thunk free since the summer of 07.
Good luck.

Front LCA = front lower A-arm, which techs call a lower control arm also.
