Nope ..it is now F: and I am starting to believe that stands for something along the four letter word lines...Somehow after the harddrive swap out, the new hard drive listed as F: directory instead of C: .
On a different note I tried a quick fix by downloading the downloader on my laptop. Then purchased a serial to usb cable thinking that I could update the predator through this ..didnt work ...so its back to the drawing board and hopefully a solution from Diablosport.[sm=headbang.gif]

You mean you couldnt install the installer on the laptop either?

I actually had no problems installing the program on my laptop..the problem with installing directly from the laptop to the predator was the lack of a serial port..I tried a serial to usb adapter but wouldnt work...But only a little while ago I found a solution. I networked my laptop and desktop together through a wireless broadband router...Using the the desktop I accessed the c drive on the laptop and worked the program from their ..No problems in transferring to the serial port in the desktop..So, Woohoo!!!..back in buisness...Now I just gotta start workin on finding some tunes ..[sm=happy046.gif]
