Which is better, X-Pipe or H-Pipe???
Guys,
I am working to increase low end torque for my 2005 GT w/automatic...
I recently had 3.73s installed because I will eventually supercharge...
I run MAC axleback mufflers which sound great...
Which exhaust addition will give me a better low end torque, the Bassani X-Pipe or the MAC H-Pipe Box???
Your comments will be greatly appreciated...
Dave

RE: Which is better, X-Pipe or H-Pipe???
From the information I have seen on various forums...
The X Cross over gives you better performance.. but a funny noise.
The H Cross over give you a MUCH better sound... but not quite as good a performance.
The performance gains between the two are not very impressive, I believe in the 3 to 5 hp range.
Disclaimer: I don't know any of this to be fact, just stating what I believe from reading posts.

I have the Bassani x-pipe and I love it. Sounds great and I am tuning it next week and should see some good HP and torque gains.
Here is a link to the thread with my install:

And here is a link with the Bassani X-pipe lying next to the factory H-pipe so you can see the difference:

My advice, go with the X.
