I'm in no position to defend either car, but How much $$$ in mods do you have on top of the normal GT price and then into the build work you're mentioning?

theres nothing to defend its a beautiful car, more poking some fun at it then anything, and I am envious but I will be at that power level.
To answer your question if we look at performance I have:
27k car (listed at 32 but rebates and such)
6k Saleen kit
$150 throttle body
$1250 (cams/ springs / phasers)
$850 headers + x pipe
So strictly performance (and car) at 35250 to be at 536 rear wheel. Without the car only in $8250 into performance.
For the work I'm talking, 2k for rotating assembly, 500 for misc parts (studs, oil pump windage tray) 500 in machine work, $90 for a pulley, 650 for fuel pump, 350 for injectors.
So another 4090 and I'll go from my 9.5psi and 536 to 15psi and what i would hope would be 650ish+ and hopefully be into my car (performance wise) $39,340 (or 12,340 into performance)
If that doesnt get me there, I got more plans but i'll see where I sit after this.

i am interested in how it turns out for you, JD.
you have some impressive numbers yourself.
friend of mine has a 07 GT, 2.3 whipple @ 14psi, stage 3 cams and heads, 298 stroker.
it makes 642 rwhp/ and around 580 tq.
so i am interested in how you do with the stock heads.

Whenever I have said in the past that you can get more power for your dollar, people always turn that into a personal insult and act like I'm attacking them.
