He is 100% right! It took me a whole 2 months just to find a reputable installer who I knew was going to do the job right the first time. Yeah sure you can go to joe shmo on the corner who does rear ends, but you would much rather have it from and experienced mustang tech who HAS DONE IT BEFORE.

How far are you from long island any how?

If you cant find a repuable shop who has done it before in your area, I have a place called real speed automotive, check out their website, who did my gears about 2 weeks ago and absolutely loved both their customer service and prices.

Plus thats all they do is work on mustangs alllll day long.

The motive gears are NOT as strong as the FRRP ones.
Also they have been known to cause horrible gear whine. Some say it is the install but with the widespread amounts of it I would contribute it to a combination. The FRRP ones are just better quality. And they cost about the same.

Look for an A at the end of the part number to make SURE you have the
Ford Racing ones.
Even Ford sells the motive ones so be careful when ordering.

I'd advise calling American Muscle or Brenspeed.
Talk to them on the phone and order from them.
That way you can make SURE you get the ones you want.

Making sure you get the right year model, rear end (V6or GT) and
making sure you get the Ford Racing and not Motives.
Just tell them when you talk to them on the phone you do NOT want
the motives and want to make sure you get the ford racing ones.

OH one more note.
Get a master install kit too.
That way you can get new bearings.
This will go a long way in making sure you get no gear whine as well.
The install kits are about a hundred bucks I think. Make sure it is
a MASTER install kit.

Here is also some valuable information you may want to consider. I just saw you had a sixxer and thought you may want to upgrade the rear end to an 8.8in like in the gts.
