Just wanted to throw my quick $.02 by saying that increasing your gear numerically will actually decrease torque output a bit. I'm talking like a smidgen - maybe 1 lb/ft at the most. This is because the further away from a 1:1 ratio two spinning masses have, the more energy is lost in the connection. This is why all the '11 GTs dynoed lower in 4th gear than they did in 5th (which was 1:1).

So, putting shorter gears in will actually decrease actual torque output, but will increase perceived torque output, due to the larger ratio. Make sense?

In reality, like I said, the difference is negligible. But since we're getting into semantics now...

They are for the 8.8. And I believe your pony is packin' the 7.5.

I recently went from the factory 3.31 to a Ford Racing 4.10 in my 2010 GT manual, and I swear its like driving a totally different car. The dam thing is so much fun to drive, especially on 2 lane roads or from a stop light, that I just don't want to get out of the car. Unless you do A LOT of interstate driving, go with the 4.10's. I put 3.73's in my old '04 GT and I can say in hindsight that they weren't worth the money.

The RP75 is for the 7.5. Go to the link and select ratio. They're a little different. 3.75 and 4.11's.

You can call and ask for Bill Tumas, the service manager. You won't be disappointed. I hope this helps. He can give you all your options. You can find his email on the site too, if you'd rather write.
