Default Help with Qtr window louvers PLEASE !!

I'm about to order a set of qtr windows louvers for my black 05 Mustang. Does any one know the difference on AmericanMuscle.com between the $124.99 Mustang Unpainted Quarter Window Louvers (05-11) (http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...vers-0509.html) and the other $174.99 Roush Mustang Quarter Window Louvers (05-09) (http://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-...w-louvers.html) ?????? It seems everyone orders the Roush ones. There are 69 customer pics of the Roush and like 3 of the other. Anybody know if the Roush are the ones to buy????????

Window louvers are all about opinion.
You do need to see if the ROUSH ones are painted or if you will have to get them painted.

There is no answer for "the ones to get".
It is all about opinion.

The ROUSH one's do come with nuts I know that.
The other ones from AM may be just stick on and be done.
(aka a little easier to install than the ROUSH's)

I had a set of Xenon ones though that did not fit the body right and
no matter what they would come off after a while.
They are the only ones I would not suggest. (Others probably have had the Xenon's with no problem though, this is just MY experience with them. Yes I did prep and install them correctly though. All four times that I had to reinstall them too.)

I'm buying unpainted cause the car in going in the shop in 2 weeks to have some paint work done, so I'll have them painted to match. I just wondered if any one knew the difference between these two sets or if the Roush ones were the preferred ones to have?

Opinion.
All it is.

When you buy ROUSH though remember you are also having to pay for the name.
When it comes to louvers, ME.... I personally would buy the cheapest ones if they looked the same.
It's not like you are buying a big time mod.

I agree completely. I know the word Roush by itself means they are more expensive, I'm just wondering does anyone know if there ARE any differences between the two? If they are the same, then I will buy the cheaper ones.

Roush is name brand. Easy to install. Mounting bracket goes on with 3M tape and then you use the screws to bolt the louvers on the mounting bracket.

The other ones are "look alikes". Can't vouch for quality.

http://www.roushperformance.com

They also have a Nascar team, Roush-Fenway Racing.

Also why are you bumping a post you made 4 min ago? You do realize it's late at night?

Sorry about the 4 min bump! LOL I was doing about 5 different things on the net and just jumped back to the previous window and didn't even check the time or if there were posts. On some forums it's beneficial to bump often and keep the post high to get a quicker response and Yes i did realize it's getting late. I was just looking for a quick a response as possible.
