just installed my tci ratchet shifter... but....
ok so the install went pretty smooth. Got under the car and popped the end of the tranny cable off the old shifter, and then i popped the second clip that holds the line in place.
Well the problem is that when i did that one side of the second clips busted off. I dont think it is a big deal because it has the other side and there was a ton of preassure keeping it into the spot regardless. And when i went to install it back into the new clip i pushed it in and snapped it on and it seemed to be perfectly fine...
so i need some reassurance, do you think i am fine... cause i think i am, it is in there pretty strong and only one little pice popped off the clip.

It should stay in place, worse case scenario will be that you won't be able to shift into a different gear
But I agree for $10 bucks, I would replace it. When I changed mine out, I just used a littel screw driver to push on the tab while pulling out the whole clip, that way I didn't have to pry on it too much.
