I'll get bored with my 'Stang when my torque curve and my HP curve quit crossing each other at 5252 RPM

Oh GAWD! the Probe was such an absolute fail. That was as assinine as GM trying to convince Corvette fans that the Chevette is the next evolution of the 'Vette!

BTY, I have to know what the hell HRnB was dreaming about!

Glad Mustang enthusiast didn't let Ford change the platform of the Mustang to that of the Probe years ago.
I hope they continue with the retro designs. Who knows maybe by 2024, we will have Mustangs packing 1200 hp and have a hp gauge like that is in the Veyron Bugatti!

That would be sweet! But FWD? Hell No! No Way Ever!

I might consider the 'Stang going AWD, so long as it remains a performance vehicle and not one of those stupid green machines.

Besides, Ricers have shown us a key problem with FWD: FWD understeer!

The new ones don't even come close to the fun of the classics

I agree, the classics are in an absolute class of their own, and no way will the SN95 and S197 have anything on the character that the classic 'Stangs have. Totally differnt feel, handling, sound, and all.

You are a damn lucky guy, owning both a classic and S197.

IMO the Mustang ll was a mistake. Every now and then Ford makes a blunder on our precious Mustangs but they learns from it.
