100 mile Sunday Cruise
Woke the neighbors up at 6:30 in the morning Sunday as I fired up NSTYGT to meet some of my racing buddies. After a good breakfest we headed up Haleakala (10k ft Mtn) on some back roads. They were twisting rolling two lane roads which were a blast until the pavement got less than good. Any loose bolts certainly fell off the car thats for sure. LOL Drove up to about 4500 feet and watched the paragliders take off for a couple of hours. Had a great time with friends and was the first time I drove the car with the m90 for a long cruise. My friends were in an 04 z06 and a 06 C6 and keeping up wasnt an issue cept my tires tended to spin around corners more now, imagine that. I also dont have much confidence in the stock brakes so I kept a safe distance, didnt want any accidents.
Had no issues with m90 and was very happy with how the car drove even heat soaked. Nothing like hanging with your buddies, talking racing, and enjoying the beautiful weather in your hot rods.

I wish I were in a place as beautiful and fair weathered as Hawaii. That is a great shot of you cars overlooking the cliff and the ocean beyond.
4500 feet and no problems with the S/C? I never even thought forced induction would even suffer a blink at high altitudes.
During WW2, many airplanes were supercharged ans also turbocharged to cram in more air due to the much thinner air at altitudes of 10K ft +

Sounds like a great day out. I've been fortunate to be on a few different assignments where I only need to drive 1-2 miles to be on some nice open roads with the Stang. I've been to Maui and those are some beautiful winding roads to play on.
