Ok to patch flat tire?
I got into my car and started driving and i started to notice the car kept sweeping to the left, got out and what do you know. The front drivers side tire is a little deflated, not totally flat. Im going to go check if its either a puncture or a valve break.
IF it is a puncture. Is it safe to get a shop to patch it? Would the speed rating on the tire still apply?

If done properly, a patched tire should be fine. In my younger days when I barely had 2 nickles to rub together I used to PLUG my tires. But then, I was young and stupid (as opposed to old and stupid now).
I've had a tire or 2 patched over the years and never had an issue with them. But if it bothers you, move the rear tires forward and put some wider meat out back.

95% of the time, a patched tire is fine. I've patched my tires probably 10 times since my driving days with stupid nails (I live in northern Virginia, construction everywhere, ugh). Never had any issues of them

If you find it is a puncture, the RIGHT way to fix it is to have the tire dismounted and patched on the inside. A plug is not a good idea. As long as the hole isn't in the sidewall, you can safely patch it on the inside, remount and rebalance it and you're golden.
Yeah im just going to take it to be done at a local tiresplus. Neighborhood i always cut through had some construction going on and a nail punctured in.
