Turned out my smart friend that put my belt back on bent the bolt on the tensioner, I got it towed to the local dealership and its getting replaced. Picking up today after work, the belt wasnt holding any tension.

Don't let your "friend" touch your car. He owes you a night with his g/f. That pic of it being put on the flatbed is more painful than the one of the damage.

So whats the consensus?
Was I right or was I right?
I guess seeing a belt tensioner
assembly machine first hand
might have a part in it.

I only understand what I am
told and what I have seen...

Its a big ol sponge inbetween the ears...

Speaking of the electrical problem it's back again... Worked fine when I picked it up and this morning. Turned headlights on and they started cutting off, when I turn them back on they come back on, previously they wouldn't. But it sounds like the car starts losing power when I turned them on. They didn't turn back off after that and once the car was warmed up it was fine. Noticed it started acting like this when it's been as cold as it's been, could it be some battery connection or something? (in the trunk) also previously the blinkers would stall the car but they didn't seem to affect it this time, and I have HIDS if that makes a difference.

Oh, HIDs make a difference.
Cheap ones are cold sensitive.
Cheap bulbs dont contain enough mercury vapor
to support the igniting of them when cold.

Factory logis is to turn off the headlights breifly
when one is burned out to let you know.
Maybe thats the problem.
What does the volt meter say when the gremlins
are awake?

That makes sense mine were $130, they've been good but when there is a temperature fluctuation cold to hot one or the other will have trouble firing for a few days. Usually it reads 14.4-14.6 it reads 14.3 when im having that issue.
