Default If power window broken, how to get in?

There's nothing wrong with my 2011, but I'm just concerned, due to past power window issues with other cars. Hypothetical situation here, but with the power windows being required to lower to get in to the car, what happens if for whatever reason the battery is dead, or the power window mechanism takes a dump? Or if, in winter, the window is frozen up? How would one get in to the car?

I tried searching for this answer, with no luck on an answer. As I said, there isn't anything wrong with mine right now, but this is a lingering concern that I have.

Please, somebody, ease my mind.

Edit: I examined the window closely, with the door closed, and it's really hard to tell if the door (when manually unlocked) would open. I know that I'm probably obsession over nothing, but that's what I do, haha.

you don't need them to go down when you open, not to close either. So you are fine.

It basically just protects torqueing your window, and it seals with a vertical motion rather than a horizontal one on normal framed doors.

I pulled the fuse on my windows when I got my tint put in just to make sure it wouldn't screw up the bottom portion. You can still close the door you just have to pull gently, and definitely do not slam the door.

The doors will open and close without the windows going up and down.

The windows on your '11 are the same as those on the '05-'10. When you open the door, do it gently. Some seal a bit tighter than others.

Defrost it first, then the short drop will work correctly.
Opening and closing of the door with the window up
is not recommended.

BTW, its not needed to do so for tint installation, either....
