Ok, so it's nice to see that most folks (with one exception^^^) are finally aware that the engine in modern Mustangs does not need to be warmed up.

But here's a question:
One of my insane neighbors starts up his LeBaron every morning at about 7:20 and guns his engine right from start up. "Vroom, vroom, vroom" he goes. About 6-7 times, then lets it idle for a second and then does it again! He must be pushing the gas pedal all the way to the floor! Wakes up me every day!

He's been doing this for about 6 months and that farkin' car is still going! Why won't it die???? I am tempted to pull a Kervorkian on it...

If your not beating on it when you take off then just let it idle for about 30 seconds. but turning it on and taking off will lessen power over time( barely noticable). I have auto start in my car and its helpful =D

I start it and let it run a minute or so. Then once I start driving, I do not get into the boost (or get on the throttle hard) until the temperature guage shows that its warmed up.

Eventually it will die. But it will probably spew a lot of oily smoke and do a bunch of knocking before it bites the dust.

lol. I wasn't talking about yours. I like watching the videos where you can tell it's cold and you know it is the first time they started the car because the car idles high. And then within a couple seconds they have the gas pedal pushed through the floor and the car redlined.

I normally just let it idle for a few seconds till the RPMs go down a little
